Introduction

Lucidor is a computer program for reading and handling e-books. Lucidor supports e-books in the EPUB file format, and catalogs in the OPDS format.

Lucidor runs on the GNU/Linux, Windows and Mac OS X platforms.

Installation

Running Lucidor on Mac OS X

To install Lucidor do the following:

  1. Double click on the Lucidor dmg file to open it.

  2. Drag the Lucidor icon to the Applications folder.

Before you can run Lucidor, you must make sure that XULRunner is installed. See “Requirements” below.

When Lucidor has been installed on Mac OS X then it can be started by clicking on Lucidor in the Applications folder.

Note

Note that Lucidor has not been extensively tested on Mac OS X, and there may still be OS specific problems. One reported issue is that the Preferences window can not be closed using the mouse. A workaround for this is to press Command+W to close the window.

Uninstallation

To uninstall Lucidor you just drag the Lucidor icon from the Applications folder to the Trash icon.

Requirements

On Mac OS X Lucidor requires that XULRunner (versions 18 or above) is installed before the program can be run.
